Swiss Timing continues to introduce new timing systems, most recently Ircos, an innovative television commentator information system (CIS) that enables all the judges’ marks and all the positions to be displayed in real time. This technological advance has enhanced Swiss Timing’s traditional sports timing and measurement services, and the company is now one of the world’s leading information providers at sports events. In addition to the provision of official timekeeping services at the Olympic Games for the Swatch Group, Swiss Timing remains active on behalf of Group brands at numerous European and world championships and major multi-sport events such as the Universiades, the Commonwealth Games and the East Asian Games.
The company handles timekeeping for Omega at a great variety of high-range swimming events and at prestigious Grand Prix events in athletics. It works with Longines at international equestrian competitions and maintains with the brand privileged relations with the European and World Gymnastics Federations (UEG and FIG), the Fédération internationale de ski and just entered the world of tennis in scoring the Tournoi de Roland-Garros, in Paris. For Tissot, Swiss Timing supports the brand’s timekeeper activities in association with the International Cycling Union and has also served as the official timekeeper at the World Fencing Championships, the World Hockey Championships and the Asian Games. Swiss Timing in present on natural and artificial beaches worldwide owing to beach volley backed up by Swatch with the FIVB World Cup events around the world.
