Swatch Group: Sales development 2002

Despite the difficult economic environment, the Swatch Group wins market share and retains its leadership position in the watch industry
• 2002 sales for the entire Group rose by +2.6 % in local currency terms in the second half and by +1.1 % for the year as a whole
• Sales growth was better in the second half of 2002 than in the first, despite a more unfavourable exchange rate situation
• 10 % dividend increase
