Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray and the Rado HyperChrome
Tennis superstar Andy Murray is the star of a new TV advertising campaign for pioneering Swiss watch brand Rado. A global ambassador for Rado since May 2012, Andy was on set in Miami on March 1st to take part in a shoot with the Rado HyperChrome – the watch he has worn since October 2012.
The 30 second commercial begins airing internationally on CNN and Eurosport on 20th March and around the Sony Open Tennis in Miami, Florida for which Rado is also the Official Timekeeper.
In the film, Andy sets off on an unusual training session on his way to practice at the tennis courts. Pull-ups, boxing and a gym workout all feature in Andy’s alternative fitness programme, which also sees him test the scratch-resistance of his Rado HyperChrome Automatic Chronograph.
Rado CEO Matthias Breschan commented «Since 2012, sports fans have taken Andy to their hearts as a new tennis hero. We’re delighted that this cool Rado TVC shows Andy’s fun side as well as his dedication to his training. We are sure Andy’s fans will love it and are convinced it will continue to make Rado synonymous with tennis».
