Deutsche Zifferblatt Manufaktur GmbH (DZM) was founded in Pforzheim in June 2006 as a Swatch Group company, and took over all the activities of the Th. Müller dial manufacturing company in July of that year. The Müller company came into being in 1922 as a family business, and gradually developed from a watch-glass manufacturer into a specialist in high-quality dials for the prestige and luxury markets.

The high-quality dials are produced totally in-house by specially trained employees, supported by the latest CNC technology in order to achieve optimum quality and maximum precision. A combination of tradition and modern technology means the entire production process from blank to completed dial can be carried out in a single place, made in Germany.

Deutsche Zifferblatt Manufaktur specializes in special requests and unusual dials, which are custom-made in line with clients’ designs. As well as Glashütte Original, its most important client, the customer base of Deutsche Zifferblatt Manufaktur GmbH includes several well-known watch brands not belonging to the Swatch Group.
