Swatch Group takes off from Orly Airport in France

Biel/Bienne, 3 May 2007 – At the beginning of May, “Tech-Airport S.A.S.”, a subsidiary of The Swatch Group Ltd. (Switzerland), which specializes in airport distribution, won the call for bids published by Aéroports De Paris for watch and jewellery boutiques at Orly Airport, France.

Tech-Airport already has thirteen points of sale at Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle and is delighted to be able to add five further boutiques opening on 1 January 2008; this makes it the leader on the two major French airports.

All the boutiques will be gradually refurbished using the concept applied in Roissy, i.e. a Swatch Store and four multi-brand points of sale. This concept has already proved successful: in less than three years of activity, Tech-Airport has achieved record sales figures.

Tech-Airport was created in 2004 and currently operates thirteen points of sale at Roissy Charles De Gaulle: five multi-brand boutiques and eight Swatch stores; the Omega Boutique is due to open in July 2007.
