The company

The Swatch Group Ltd is an international group active in the manufacture and sale of finished watches, jewelry, watch movements and components. Swatch Group supplies nearly all components required for the watches sold by its 17 brands as Breguet, Harry Winston, Blancpain, Glashütte Original, Jaquet Droz, Léon Hatot, Omega, Longines, Rado, Union Glashütte, Tissot, Balmain, Certina, Mido, Hamilton, Swatch and Flik Flak.

The Swatch Group Belgium is looking for a Brand Manager (Longines) who will report to Country Manager.

Job description

Accountable for the strategic development of Longines brand within a framework of broadly defined procedures and guidelines given by general management and with focus on achievement of sales objectives on short and medium-term basis. Initiates and coordinates sales & marketing oriented activities and plans the resources required accordingly, in order to reach the Budget, action plans and targets set by the company and the Brand.

 

Sales

  • Translate the Budget requirements and policies of the Brand into operational strategies, goals and objectives
  • Translate the operational goals and objectives into individual targets and concrete sales plans for his team members

Business Development

  • Translate the Budget requirements and policies of the brand into short and medium-term perspectives and targets in terms of business development among new and existing channels and customers, distribution analysis and development…
  • E-commerce development

Customer Relation Management

  • Strategic follow-up of the market : P&L analysis, follow-up of the sales and business plans, turnover evolution, stock levels, competitor analysis, market trends, sell out monitoring, competetion…

 

 

 

Marketing

  • Translate the brand requirements into a marketing and communication plan
  • Develop promotional and marketing-related activities in order to realise the sales plans and targets
  • Marketing budget management

People Management

 

  • Acts as a people manager for his team
  • Plan, organise and co-ordinate staffing and resources for his team
  • Supervise and guide his team members in order to reach the targets and plans
  • To be expected to give the right coaching

Knowledge Management

 

  • Update own knowledge on different subjects
  • Participate to trainings
  • Share experience and knowledge with colleagues and team members

Profile

  • Several year experience in Sales & sales management,
  • Previous responsibility in managing a brand as a whole (sales & marketing)
  • Experience in marketing and communication
  • Good interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial
  • Experience in people management
