Job description
In order to strengthen our Quality team we are recruiting our new
Head of Global Quality
Mission :
- Responsible for overall company quality management aspects, throughout the whole supply chain and throughout products’ life cycle, for all served market segments.
- Member of the extended staff and Projects Validation Committee.
- Support EM CEO on side topics with sister companies, beyond EM role.
- This role impacts all EM sites.

Tasks and responsibilities :
- Ensure that EM management system fully complies with the requirements of served markets standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO17025, etc....), with TQM principles as well as with specific customers’ requirements, with regulatory / statutory requirements and with Swatch Group requirements.
- Company governance: establish, upgrade, and deploy business manual, key processes approach, and adequate surveillance with boards members, in alignment with stakeholders’ expectations
- Oversee, maintain and continuously improve EM Management system through regular reviews, audits, and updates. Train and support staff in QMS processes and best practices.
- Own the company management review process. Ensure quality plans and company level programs derived from MR respond to EM major risks derived from evolution of EM environment (market/competition/customers/suppliers/ Swatch Group/employees/government/regulations).
- Align quality strategy and metrics with company higher level objectives and strategy.
- Define EM quality policy with key stakeholders and ensure deployment throughout all EM processes and to all levels of EM organization
- Anticipate long-term challenges, organization and market needs.
- Define, deploy, monitors and reports of quality plans to ensure effective quality organization contribution to company targets & competitiveness, customers’ satisfaction and financial profitability.
- Oversee and drive EM quality performance and continuous improvement all along the supply chain (supplier quality and customer complaints), operations and development in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Lead and manage the Product Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet or exceed customer expectations and meet regulatory requirements.
- Ensure EM products meet regulatory requirements in all served market locations.
- Ensure that EM organization understand master quality tools and methods to carry out their mission within EM organization.
- Ensure customers quality management contracts are reviewed and adapted to meet EM best interest while satisfying their requirements. Ensure suppliers’ quality management contracts are accepted to the best of EM interest and EM customers’ requirements.
- Ensure quality labs meet industry best in class standard and service to EM stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality department is structured and staffed to satisfy the needs of interested parties and served market segments. Drive EM team engagement and performance to provide best in class support and service to EM worldwide.
Profile
- Master in Engineering in Electronics or Microelectronics.
- > 10 years in a similar position.
- Quality Management System: in depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949. Knowledge of ISO17025 / 13485 / 14001. Functional safety ISO26262 knowledge is a plus.
- Automotive core tools: FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP.
- Relevant industry standards such as AEC Qxx, A-SPICE, relevant Jedec, ZVEI, VDA, MIL883 etc.
- Audit experience with VDA 6.3 / VDA6.5 and strong knowledge about ISO19011.
- Strong problem-solving 8D techniques and risk management / contingency / mitigation methods.
- Statistical competencies, Black Belt Six Sigma is a strong plus. Knowledge of LEAN concept is a strong plus. Project management skills is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor technologies & products development methods, manufacturing processes/environment and related quality business processes. Strong knowledge of the IC industry, markets and players.
