Job description

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing and maintaining the Product backlogs, the Product Delivery plans and roadmaps to ensure the correct focus is maintained on product goals. You will act as an Agile ambassador, and actively take responsibility for products and shape the working environment.

In addition, you will ensure the delivery of the core frameworks for both regular sport seasons and multi-sport events. You will drive cost optimization and efficiency improvements through your own initiatives on a day-to-day basis.

Through the various relationships with internal and external stakeholders, you will act as a central interface for specific products and drive common perspectives, while aligning delivery to the corporate roadmap objectives. You will collaborate with Scrum Masters and Architects to analyze business & system requirements and prioritize them within the backlog.

Profile

You have 5+ years of Product Owner role experience or similar in software environment, with some working knowledge of the sport industry and sport technology. You are a certified Scrum Product Owner and have experience in project/product management, Agiles methodologies (XP, Scrum, Kanban, Lean), stakeholder and scope management, development process and methodology, as well as innovation processes. Budgeting and cost controlling are some of your strong skills.

You are a leader by nature and have experience in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment. You are visionary (open-minded) and entrepreneur (initiative), have strong communication skills (verbal and written) not only with engineers but also at the management level, you are comfortable with negotiations. You are available for travels in Switzerland and abroad (approx. 20% of the time). 

Professional requirements

  • Scrum Product Owner certification
  • Experience in project/product management
  • Available for travels (approx. 20% of the time). 

Languages

  • Fluent in English
  • French and/or German knowledge would be an advantage
