Global Mission

As a Staff Engineer in Mask Data Preparation, you will play a pivotal role in tapeout operations, working closely with Design, Process Integration, Lithography, and Metrology teams.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Executing tapeout activities within the data preparation team, including design verification, Boolean operations, mask data generation, Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) and post-generation verification
  • Documenting the tapeout workflow, maintaining clear procedures and generating reports for error-waiving sessions in close collaboration with design and process integration engineers
  • Assessing and documenting critical pattern configurations and potential hotspots, in partnership with process engineering. You will support root cause investigations with local integration and yield engineering teams and contribute to solution development
  • Supporting new technology development by contributing to OPC model calibration and recipe generation, working in close coordination with Lithography, Etch, and Metrology engineers

Profil

  • Master degree in Science or Engineering
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally built upon some practical experience in lithography-etch-metrology areas
  • Good understanding of both design and manufacturing environments

Compétences requises

  • You are strongly motivated in all aspects of Technology Development related to IC Manufacturing, from definition to release to mass production
  • You have an effective hands-on experience with OPC-model calibration (ideally Calibre suite)
  • You have a solid background in related IC Manufacturing processing (Lithography, Etch, Metrology)
  • You are familiar with problem solving techniques and you have a strong personal initiative with self-learning capabilities
  • You like to work in a multicultural, international and highly technical environment
  • You are highly motivated, flexible and a communicative team player
  • Excellent team work & stress management capabilities

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
