Retail Training Manager

Purpose
Reporting to the Vice President Sales, you will be responsible for developing and deploying the Retail Training strategy for Blancpain’s global boutique network. By sharing the brand’s heritage, expertise and by coaching sales teams on the sales floor, you will play a key role in elevating the client experience, sharing the passion for Blancpain and directly driving business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop training material
- Design, develop and maintain training material covering products and collections, brand history, storytelling and sales techniques for different channels - e-learning, classroom or in-store training.
- Work closely with the sales, product and marketing teams to develop the training material required to deploy the brand strategy and to support specific activations such as product launches.
- Ensure training content is fully aligned with the brand vision, storytelling, field needs, and luxury retail standards.
- Ensure training materials remain up to date, relevant, and consistent across all channels.
Training delivery
- Deliver in person training modules, in classroom or directly in store
- Animate and run webinars through our e-learning platform, creating a direct connection between the boutique sales teams and headquarters.
- Provide in-store coaching to elevate the selling ceremony, hospitality standards, and overall customer experience by working directly with the boutique manager and the sales team.
- Organize and deploy training modules through train the trainers
Animate and develop the e-learning platform
- Ensure continuous development of the platform, enriching content and media to support the ongoing needs of the business.
- Manage the platform and animate the user's community and track their performance
- Manage the relationship with the vendors involved with the platform or content creation, ensuring effective coordination, operational follow-up, timely delivery of projects, and compliance with agreed commitments.
Profil
- Proven experience (7–10 years) in luxury retail, ideally in watchmaking or jewelry.
- Experience with training design and delivery
- Excellent understanding of luxury retail and its codes.
- Strong product affinity and the ability to communicate complex technical content in an engaging and accessible way.
- Sound knowledge of product, industry and competitors
- Excellent training, facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Highly organized, autonomous, and detail oriented.
- Fluency in English is essential. Additional languages are an asset.
