How do I apply? 

Find your preferred apprenticeship under Situations Vacant and send us your letter of application, curriculum vitae, copies of any certificates, aptitude tests and, if available, diplomas/degrees.

Can I do a taster course first? 

In the case of various Swatch Group companies offering apprenticeships, a taster course is an integral part of the recruitment process. In other words, after successful examination of your application documents, you will be invited to undertake a taster course.  Some of these companies offer information days for year 8 schoolchildren. Contact the company of your choice for more information.

 

What happens after I have submitted my application? 

As soon as we have received your application, we will acknowledge it. 

 

What is the sequence of events in the application procedure? 

The application procedure can include the following steps: 

  • Written application
  • Personal interview 
  • Working (internship/taster course, obtaining reference information)

Does the Swatch Group offer a shorter apprenticeship? 

Basically, yes. However, this will be clarified on an individual basis. You would best contact the company of your choice for more information.

 

I am interested in a number of jobs advertised. Do I need to apply several times?

Yes, you need to submit a separate application for each of the apprenticeships that interests you.  

 

Will it be possible for me to complete a (Swiss) Federal Vocational Baccalaureate? 

Basically, yes.
