Brand President ( Rado)

Job description

The Brand President is responsible for the daily management of brand activities including P&L, sales, budgeting, inventory management, marketing, visual merchandising, events and training for the U.S. and Caribbean markets.  The Brand President must have previous experience within the timepiece industry and managing a team. 

This role is an office-based position in Miami, Florida but it will require travel throughout the US Territory. 

Profile

Responsibilities:

  • Develop brand strategy to drive sales and marketing in accordance with HQ’s global brand directives
  • Develop the distribution channel in accordance with brand strategy
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume
  • Lead, inspire and develop the sales team to ensure they meet their business objectives
  • Network with prospective clients to strengthen brand awareness
  • Build relationships with retailers and clients by visiting them to discuss brand and products
  • Manage the territory in an effective manner including selling activities, stock management, merchandising, account servicing and coop marketing activities
  • Define and implement Marketing Plans
  • Control local implementation of Marketing budgets and plans, and report on variances
  • Define promotional material and new product strategies
  • Provide solutions to meet customers' needs
  • Explore, develop and implement changes to increase in-store visibility and sell-through (including training and case space negotiation)
  • Propose promotional events in conjunction with management
  • Complete forecasts, sales analysis and other relevant reports

Professional requirements

Qualifications:

  • 7 to 10 years’ sales experience in the luxury goods industry; Fine jewelry, watches, cosmetics or liqueur
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an account management or brand management role
  • 3 years’ experience of P&L responsibility
  • Excellent negotiation, organization, presentation and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Outstanding leadership skills to effectively interact with team members and clients
  • Proficiency with computer programs including MS Office (Excel and Word)
  • Able to travel frequently (international and domestic)
