Job description

As an Area Manager, you'll directly report to the Brand Manager and take full responsibility for the business's overall management. Your key role includes overseeing sales, operations, merchandising, housekeeping, new store standards, and human resources for Swatch stores and kiosks in your region.

Starting base pay of $65,000 plus annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities include:

Sales Generation:

  • Analyze and maximize sales trends.
  • Implement and monitor effective sales strategies.
  • Provide sales and customer service techniques trainings.
  • Keep up with local market trends and competitor analysis.

Operational Excellence:

  • Manage loss prevention and expense control.
  • Conduct loss prevention training and monitor store operations.
  • Implement cost control measures and maintain operational standards.
  • Coordinate maintenance issues to prevent health and safety risks.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Ensure stores adhere to merchandising guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory and stock levels as per company plans.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Human Resources:

  • Manage personnel planning and administration.
  • Conduct quarterly appraisals for store managers and address any issues.

General Duties:

  • Represent Swatch in meetings and introduce guidelines approved by management.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.

Profile

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written), including strong relationship building skills.
  • Must be a self-starter who works well independently and in team environments.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear concise and understandable manner.
  • Effective leadership skills to mentor and motivate retail teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 65% of the time.

Professional requirements

  • At least 4 years retail leadership experience, preferably in fashion and/or accessories.
  • Expert computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office.
  • At least 6 years of customer service experience.
