Job description

The Sales Operations Coordinator at Hour Passion ensures seamless communication within retail teams, analyzes performance metrics, and identifies growth opportunities in the Canadian market. They lead the Store Management team to meet sales targets and maintain brand consistency. Responsibilities include developing strategies, managing budgets, coaching teams, and ensuring operational standards.

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Strategy Development: Creating sales and operations strategies for maximizing growth potential.
  2. Financial Management: Reviewing P&L statements, developing budgets and forecasts, and providing financial reports.
  3. Talent Management: Collaborating with HR and Store Management teams on talent selection, retention, and succession planning.
  4. Coaching & Training: Mentoring Store Management on KPIs and maintaining an accountability culture.
  5. Inventory Management: Reviewing inventory levels, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with visual/merchandising directives.
  6. Customer Service: Resolving escalated issues and scheduling repair work orders.
  7. Project Management: Setting up new IOs for retail projects and analyzing spending reports.

PRESTIGE BRAND COORDINATOR (40%)

Managing orders, SKU systems, purchase orders, and coordinating marketing expenses

  • Processing orders for prestige brands for Canadian retailers
  • Managing SKU system set up and availability communication
  • Preparing PO and Shipnotes to receive all POS inventory to ensure SAP accuracy
  • Analyzing inventory and shippables
  • Preparing purchase orders for all marketing vendors and expenses
  • Maintaining the Canadian marketing budget for prestige brands on a regular basis and keeping track of all spending
  • Coordinating co-op advertising documentation for processing
  • Coordinating marketing materials and products for events

Employment Status

  • Salaried, Full-Time, 40-44 hours per week on average. Must maintain open availability to meet the needs of the business and may be required to work more than 44 hours a week, certain holidays and blackout dates. Car and Air Travel may be required.

Working Conditions

Moderate physical effort is required. This position has a low risk of injury, the position requires lifting, pushing, pulling and holding (up to 35 lbs and above with appropriate support) of boxes and store fixtures, as well as, significant focus when completing reports and materials for presentations.

Professional requirements

Requirements:

  • College Diploma or University Degree
  • 2-3 years order processing support experience in a retail or wholesale environment
  • Must be proficient with MS Office applications, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Organized and independent with initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Training and presentation skills
  • Represents self and situations honestly; understands and maintains confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously and operate with flexibility in the presence of shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong self motivation, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
  • Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
  • Experience with SAP is highly desired.
  • French Communication skill is an asset.
