Job description
HR Generalist will help support the corporate office in Miami, FL as well as approximately 30 retail stores in the US. Serve as a partner to the HR team and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase retention.
• Talent Development and Succession Planning – implement and manage training and development programs to help employees grow their careers and skills within the company
• Partner with HRBP and hiring managers on new hire onboarding to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
• Develop, implement and manage recruitment strategies inclusive of finalizing job descriptions, job posting, resume review and screening, interview scheduling, candidate correspondence, and notifying candidate of the hiring decision process.
• Act as a point of contact for general employee inquiries. Provide guidance and interpretation to employees on policies and procedures.
• Track movement across the employee cycle - new hires, transfers, promotions, exits
• Responsible for the maintenance of employee files in accordance with all state and federal requirements and ensure documents are tracked and filed in a timely manner.
• Assist with the preparation of employment agreements, PRFs, coordinate signature process and ensure protocol
• Partner with the payroll and benefits department to track employee leaves, and handle escalated matters
• Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement
• Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• All other duties as assigned by Management
• This is an onsite in office five days a week.

Profile
The HR Generalist with Swatch Group, U.S, will be responsible for supporting HR functions and providing exceptional attention to the quality of all projects and daily routines. The HR Generalist will support the HR Business Partner with pro-active recruitment (strategy), employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
Position Reports to: HR Business Partner
Professional requirements
• 6+ years of HR experience in fashion or timekeeping retail with evidence of strong career growth and progression.
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR and HRCI certification preferred
• General knowledge of HR policies, processes and Federal/State Laws, including California
• Advanced computer skills (Advanced level in Microsoft Word and Excel including pivot tables and vlookup)
• Well-developed interpersonal and demonstrated customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented and strong recordkeeping skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines and time constraints
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Thoughtful decision maker
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff/management and work successfully in a team environment
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
• Creative thinking and creative problem solving
• Ability to recognize opportunity for improvement and lead change
Physical Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the HR Generalist to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
