Job description
Sales and Business Development
o Provide excellent client experience and timely, pertinent follow-up for both prospective clients and owners in order to achieve the sales targets
o Propose clients for, and participate in, local activation events in line with the Brand Strategy
o Support colleagues in their sales by helping to prepare invoices, gifts, packaging
o Ensure requests and inquiries (online, email, phone) are followed up in a timely manner
o Develop and maintain a high level of sales technique and watchmaking knowledge
Boutique Operations
o Actively participate in the proper maintenance of the boutique: product displays, props set-up, etc.
o Understand and respect all operating and security guidelines
o Follow the security and proper maintenance of stock timepieces
Profile
Blancpain is currently recruiting a strong, luxury Brand Ambassador for its Flagship boutique in New York City.
The Brand Ambassador provides exceptional experiences for all visitors to the boutique in order to build long-term relationships and achieve sales targets. Working together with colleagues, the Boutique Manager and the Blancpain management team, the Brand Ambassador helps ensure that every client experiences the high level of service worthy of a Blancpain timepiece.
Professional requirements
Previous sales experience in a luxury Retail boutique, preferably with timepieces
Excellent client service and attention to details
Entrepreneurial spirit to develop your own business and build long-lasting client relationships
Team player with good interpersonal skills and a "can do" attitude
Foreign language skills a plus
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000, in addition to an impressive commission structure.
