The Role

As a Despatch Officer, you will be a key member of our close-knit logistics team, playing a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their deliveries in full and on time.

This is an entry-level position based at our Richmond Head Office, working within a small-scale and hands-on warehouse setting. You will be supported with on-site training and development to ensure you are fully equipped to meet the requirements of the role. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Pack and despatch watches, spare parts, repair watches and marketing material for all Swatch Group brands
  • Prepare shipping documentation for carriers such as Toll Priority, Star Track Express, Fed Ex and DHL
  • Prepare customs documentation for overseas shipments
  • Assist Logistics Manager in ensuring all supplies related to despatching are in stock
  • Follow up all delayed and missing despatch items in transit
  • Participate in stock takes and general warehouse functions as required
  • Receive courier deliveries and weekly consignments of watches, spare parts and POS material
  • Ensure items are packed and despatched with accuracy within given time frames and service parameters

Skills & Experience

  • Basic – intermediate computer skills
  • Some pick and packing experience desirable
  • Exposure to domestic and international courier’s desirable
  • Team player
  • Organisational skills
  • Flexible and able to cope within a high-volume environment
