Job description
The Marketing Specialist is responsible to support cross-functional marketing initiatives across retail, eCommerce, media, and brand communications. This is a highly visible role that requires sharp editorial sensibility, strong content planning skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments. The ideal candidate brings experience managing up, working fluidly across stakeholder groups, and contributing to the execution of campaigns that drive both brand relevance and business results.
Profile
Responsibilities:
- Editorial & Content Leadership
- Lead content planning for retail and product campaigns—owning timelines, messaging coordination, and content briefs across internal and external channels.
- Serve as a content point-person for retail marketing initiatives, ensuring messaging consistency across in-store, digital, and owned media.
- Write and edit internal decks, executive briefs, and recaps with clarity and polish.
- Partner with retail and media teams to bring stories to life in a way that aligns with both business goals and brand tone.
- Retail & Experiential Marketing
- Support the execution of national and local brand activations (e.g., Swatch Nines, Global Collabs, retail tours).
- Own end-to-end logistics and creative briefing for in-store experiences, pop-ups, and event marketing efforts.
- Maintain and own the national marketing calendar, ensuring visibility and alignment across teams.
- Integrated Campaign Coordination
- Collaborate with eCommerce, PR, Social Media, and Retail Ops to execute 360° campaigns across owned and partner channels.
- Act as a liaison with HQ to secure campaign toolkits, ensure creative approvals, and align on global campaign direction.
- Contribute to cross-channel messaging, content rollouts, and campaign performance tracking.
- Media & Advertising Support
- Assist with planning, trafficking, and reporting for out-of-home and in-mall advertising placements.
- Coordinate with media partners and vendors to ensure timely delivery of creative and on-brand execution.
- Budgeting & Administrative Support
- Track budgets, vendor costs, and invoices tied to marketing activations and campaign deliverables.
- Help document spend, performance metrics, and campaign recaps for leadership reporting.
Professional requirements
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, editorial, or brand communications—preferably in consumer, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
- Strong editorial instinct and experience leading content planning in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment.
- Confident communicator with experience presenting ideas and updates to senior leadership.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and shifting timelines.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop or InDesign a plus).
- Familiarity with SAP and project management tools a plus.
- Positive attitude, accountability, and ability to operate independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
