Job description
Main Function
Ensure the smooth and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing watches, parts, and accessories, unpacking, registering, and preparing items for dispatch, with a focus on accuracy and careful handling.
Role and Responsibilities
• Receive, unpack, and register watches, ensuring accurate data entry into the service system (SAP). Verify watch details against records to ensure consistency and completeness.
• Prepare watches, pre-paid packs, parts, and accessories for dispatch to customers across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and Switzerland. Ensure all brand requirements are achieved and accuracy checks completed.
• Handle incoming watches from the UK, Ireland, Europe, and Switzerland, adhering to customs regulations and working with the wider team to ensure all required documentation is accurately processed for smooth clearance.
• Monitor and manage the stock of daily consumables (e.g., packaging materials, labels, and other essentials), ensuring that supplies are maintained from the main stock.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy when entering and updating watch details, customer information, and dispatch records onto the service system (SAP). Ensure that all entries are correct and completed within the required timeframe.
• Distribute all incoming items and post across various departments, ensuring that materials and communications are routed to the correct individuals in a timely manner.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with supervisors and department managers, promptly reporting any issues or concerns and keeping them informed of progress and workload.
• Ensure all items are stored correctly, and work areas are kept neat and organised to maintain efficient workflow and health and safety requirements.
• Provide general assistance with administrative tasks, data entry, and documentation as required by the Logistics department team to support daily operations and meet departmental targets.
