Job description
E-Commerce Operations
- Oversee day-to-day e-commerce operations, including orders, returns, and platform functionality.
- Coordinate stock, pricing, and product listing accuracy in alignment with merchandising and logistics.
- Ensure seamless operation with payment gateways, customer support, and delivery partners.
- Liaise with HQ on the implementation and adaptation of global campaigns.
Platform Readiness & Launch Coordination
- Act as the primary project contact for internal teams during pre-launch setup.
- Work with IT, logistics, and marketing to ensure readiness for go-live.
- Coordinate with agencies or third-party developers if needed.
- Support with content management and local adaptation of web assets.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor sales KPIs, conversion rates, and traffic performance.
- Use web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) to derive insights and optimize performance.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on performance and improvements.
Customer Experience & Support
- Coordinate with customer service to ensure high service standards.
- Address and escalate customer issues or technical bugs promptly.
- Track and propose improvements across the digital user journey.
Profile
To support the launch and ongoing operations of the Swatch e-commerce platform in Saudi Arabia by acting as the key project coordinator across departments. The specialist will be responsible for aligning execution with HQ strategy, optimizing digital performance, and serving as the lead contact for all pre- and post-launch activities.
Professional requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, ideally within the fashion, luxury watches, or consumer retail sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Solid understanding of digital commerce platforms, omnichannel strategies, and regional online consumer behavior.
- Proven experience with e-commerce CMS and OMS systems such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with local and international marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Noon, Namshi) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in product catalog management, pricing strategies, inventory syncing, and promotional rule setup.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments and external agencies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and basic A/B testing tools to monitor and improve KPIs.
- Understanding of SEO, SEM, and performance marketing fundamentals to support traffic growth and conversion optimization.
- Ability to translate technical information and web issues into business language for decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is required, Arabic is a strong plus.
- Passion for digital innovation and keeping up with emerging trends in e-commerce, UX, and online retail technology.
