Job description

- Manage Spare Parts team to ensure team is motivated and performs at its optimal level Undertake performance appraisals
- Contribute to planning of Spare Parts department in conjunction with the Customer Care Director
- Ensure parts are put away by team members daily
- Ensure quotes are handled by team members in the best customer service manner
- Ensure sales orders are processed in the best customer service manner
- Ensure purchase orders are processed daily
- Check and mark off shipment before passing to team members for processing
- Replenish stock as required
- Order new stock for new models (parts, quantities); organize labels and re-arrange stock.
- Process stock movements to other departments
- Return defective stock or old parts to supplier in conjunction with Brand Manager and Finance Manager
- Undertake stocktake of spare parts
- Provide monthly reports

Profile

The spare parts manager is responsible for the operations of the spare parts department. This includes responsibility for day to day operations and the performance of staff within the department to ensure our clients’ expectations are met.

Professional requirements

- Extremely strong attention to detail (particularly numbers)
- Computer proficiency • MS Office – intermediate to advanced, particularly Excel / Access, email
- Customer service approach
- Team oriented
- Ability to work in a fast environment
- Spare parts / jewelry industry experience preferred
