Job description

Job Responsibilities:

Ongoing Inventory Controls:

  • Cycle Counting Modern and Traditional Brands
  • Discrepancy Evaluation Against Reported Mis-selects
  • Annual Inventory Scheduling and auditing tie-in
  • Manage maintenance of bin location system
  • Location setup for ASNs: Deleting and adding locations in Bar Control for ASNs.  This involves research into SAP by SKU and proper allocation of space in vault.  Working between two systems (SAP and Bar Control)
  • Space / SKU Optimization:  Organization and reorganization to promote newer and popular SKUs in prominent bin locations and move older and less popular SKU to less prominent bin locations.  Transferring product and follow up on bin location transfers. 

Reporting

  • Cycle Count Reporting
  • Development of benchmarking standards
  • Mis-selects/error controls

Profile

The Swatch Group U.S. is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator for its distribution center in Secaucus, NJ. Ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, able to manage complex systems and have excellent communication, math and analytical skills. In addition, be expected to work with associated documentation and assist in the management of multiple inventories.

Professional requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience with inventory control, preferably in similar work environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Able to manage varied work loads
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and meet strict deadlines
  • Pro-actively takes initiative to improve existing processes
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Ability to think clearly and calmly when faced with issues or problems and demonstrates an understanding to find solutions
  • Able to multi task and work independently with precise detail and follow-up;
  • Flexibility with work hours required as overtime is necessary during high volume seasons, physical inventory and other peaks times as they arise
