Logistics Business Process Owner

Job description

As Logistics Business Process Owner, you will be responsible for the design, standardization, continuous improvement, and governance of logistics processes, in close collaboration with internal SAP and IT stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  •  Implement and maintain process governance to ensure the stability and scalability of the distribution center, delivery management solution, and export activities.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications in close cooperation with various stakeholders such as brands/subsidiaries, carriers, project managers, SAP business analysts, operations teams and external partners.
  • Test and validate IT solutions and define test scenarios to ensure the system readiness before UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Coordinate and execute UAT’s and support the business team when required.
  • Manage go-lives of new requirements, ensuring stakeholder alignment throughout the process. Oversee hypercare and a structured handover to operations with appropriate documentation and training.
  • Support operations teams in solving problems, analyzing use cases and identifying improvements.
  • Create and maintain user guides and training documents.

Profile

  • Demonstrated expertise in functional and technical aspects of SAP (R3, S4) SD/MM modules and eWM as key user.
  • Expertise in logistics process design and improvements (distribution center and transportation).
  • Experience of being the bridge between business profiles and SAP business analysts or solution architects.

Professional requirements

  • University degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of professional experience in the field of supply chain or WM systems.
  • Strong analytical mindset with well-developed conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a talent for documentation, process formalization, and the development of clear training materials.
  • Collaborative team player with high social and emotional intelligence.
  • Confident and assertive in managing complex stakeholder dynamics and addressing challenges with clarity and professionalism.
  • Proactive in taking ownership of processes and accountable for their business impact.

Languages

Now, in order to blend in, socially and professionally, we certainly recommend the following languages:

  • Fluency French or English with good knowledge of the other language.
  • German is a plus.
