Job description

To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced IC Front-End Quality Manufacturing Manager to ensure best in-class manufacturing quality in EM wafer Fab and foundries. Reporting into the VP IC Operations this role is responsible for overall Manufacturing Quality performances and compliance to automotive and customers’ requirements throughout all IC Front-End and External Foundries.

Your main responsibilities and activities will be : 

  • General quality drive: deploys Quality policy inside IC FE organization, deploys quality methods and mindset, jointly with Quality department, towards zero defects expectations, is responsible of EM FE compliance to IATF16949 and customers’ requirements and leads Tasks forces/Quality alerts cases related to EM IC FE.
  • Process Change Management: is owner and chairman of the PCRB process in EM IC FE, ensures adherence to EM change management process, to secure potential risk of changes and secure EM supply chain and customers, while getting expected benefits, analyses and ensures no collateral impact from change in terms of operational performances (NC, scraps, yield, customers’ claims, mainly), drives KPI analysis of the PCRB process, defines and drives CIP opportunities.
  • Supports change management request from foundries, upon need, jointly with Front-End Foundries Manager and supplier quality.
  • Process control: ensures adequate deployment of MSA, SPC, automation, FDC, MES rules towards reduction of scraps and NC events.
  • Non-conformances management: owner and chairperson of the MRB, ensures adequate risk assessment of the NC event is systematically and timely made and effective disposition actions are taken to protect EM supply chain and customers, drives analysis of contributions at organization and processes levels in order to define, initiate and drive CIP, jointly with area and processes owners, support NC disposition at wafer foundries, upon needs, jointly with Front-End Foundries Manager and supplier quality.
  • Scraps: drives scraps analysis and ensures assignment of cases to the relevant production area, coaches and ensure timely problem solving towards effective root cause elimination without problems recurrence, drives analysis of contributions at organization and processes levels in order to define, initiate and drive CIP, jointly with area and processes owners.
  • Audits: drives execution of the manufacturing audit process, drives findings resolution, until system level for major NC, reports audits finding and resolution status to the management, defines and proposes yearly improvement plans relate to audit findings or audit management process (way of working).
  • Customers complaints: drives the resolution of the case assigned to EM IC FE and foundries, ensures timely problem solving towards effective root cause elimination without problems recurrence, ensures adequate risk assessment of the claim event is systematically and timely made to protect EM supply chain and customers, drives analysis of contributions at organization and operations processes levels in order to define, initiate and drive CIP, jointly with customer quality.

Profile

  • Project Management experience.
  • Proven Leadership skills. Excellent teamwork.
  • Problem solving, initiative and results oriented attitude.
  • Good knowledge of quality systems, industry standards, tools and their implementation/application: ISO9001, IATF 16949 and automotive core tools.
  • Good knowledge of IC production flows, use of quality tools, process development, failure analysis and audits.
  • Negotiation, prioritization, empathy, flexibility.
  • Self-driven, organized, structured, analytical, synthetic, able to lead Continuous Improvements projects and teams.
  • Customer orientation: able to interact in a very multi-cultural environment; adapt and find appropriate communication to satisfy customers’ requirements.

Professional requirements

  • Engineering degree in Electronics, Microelectronics
  • 10 years of experience in a high-tech company
  • 5 years of experience in a Quality Management Role
  • Six sigma black belt, Lean experience
