Job description

As a Operations Manager with Swatch Group, U.S., the position will be responsible to support the function of the business
by managing the areas of shipping/receiving, point-of-sale, operating budgets/invoicing/expenses.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all new launches-have lines graded and then take grades to forecasting process
Weekly replenishment for stores based on sales and analysis
Review stores inventory bi-monthly (to check levels); fill in for retail replenishment
Full responsibility for the ordering process- (wholesale, retail, and e-commerce situation)
Interface regularly with corporate regarding forecasting and allocation
Monitor all wholesale orders- transfer product to reserve; place order with Corporate to make sure orders will
be filled
Monitor CRM database file transfers, and resolve issues that occur with 2nd party vendors.
Develop new tools and training to increase operational proficiency.
Manage all operational based projects / manipulate existing systems in order to satisfy the needs of the
business.
Manage store opening/ renovation/closing projects directly or remotely with assistance of a field team.
Review retail controllable cost reports.
Review operational audits to identify retail store deficiencies.
Negotiate new contracts and pricing with vendors.
Manage yearly operational project sheets.
Assist entire division with special projects.
Verify that open PO’s in SAP match corporate’s files- make any changes in SAP for requests to cancel or
change PO’s
On order report this indicates what PO’s are open and coming; also allows us to know of product being delayed
Oversee Open to buy Report, MRP reports, Backorder reports(weekly), Top Seller reports
Provide monthly inventory analysis and analytical reports upon request
Responsible for all returns that are sent back to corporate- regular jobbing requests as well as subcontracting
(have to receive back upon verification)
Receive return requests- go through and send back any necessary returns to Corporate office
Set up all new products to be received in U.S.
Weekly pricing verification- run report to make sure there are no pricing errors in database
Responsible for verification and setup of the pricing of new product- gross margins, etc.
Assist with ship notes, target stocks, material, and pricing changes as well as setting up items
Product availability’s are updated weekly, and sent to stores for special orders

Profile

Education and Experience Requirements - - - - - - - - - - - - 
Must have a High School Diplomas; 
1-3 years of credit and collections experience is required 
Some relevant college coursework in Business Administration 
Must have a minimum of 4-6 years’ experience of the following -  Travel Retail, Buying, Allocation and planning 
Develop and build good relationships with our high-end customers and sales force. 
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills 
Must have knowledge of SAP 
Intermediate Excel skills is a must 
Attention to detail and accuracy 
Strong learning ability and problem solving skills 
Strong time management skills and ability to be both effective and efficient in work 
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

Professional requirements

Physical Requirements:   
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Operations Manager to have the ability to operate 
computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is 
necessary.
