Job description

The Operations Specialist is responsible for facilitating and executing various projects and initiatives within the Operations Department, with a primary focus on supporting the operational needs of Retail Boutiques. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations and will serve as the main point of contact in their absence.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, with an emphasis on retail environment. They must thrive in a collaborative team setting and demonstrate excellent communication skills, as the role requires frequent interaction with both boutique teams and corporate management.

 

This position will be located at Miami, FL

Profile

  • Communicate and facilitate operations for US retail boutiques and Corporate Office
  • Assist in preparation of new boutique openings
  • Assist in planning and maintaining yearly operation budgets for each boutique
  • Prepares yearly KPI reports for each boutique
  • Coordinate Physical inventory for Retail network
  • Monitor sales accessory needs for boutiques and place orders with Switzerland
  • Maintain employee consignment program
  • Support Boutiques-Sale adjustment, CEGID transaction support, etc.
  • Maintain tour guide program including check processing and check status logs
  • Work as liaison between finance and the boutiques
  • Maintains boutique stationary website and order operational supplies for boutiques and office; Supply orders, event, visual and specialty needs
  • Work with vendors on service and pricing
  • Invoice approval and coding
  • Audit Boutique expenses and Petty Cash
  • Support field leadership team for daily operating needs
  • Various report updates

Professional requirements

  • 3+ years of corporate or retail operations.
  • Strong written communication skills required.
  • Experience working closely with senior level executives.
  • Understanding of the reality of the Retail environment. 
  • Ability to perform well in a team environment and manage multiple deadline-driven projects.
  • Must be flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) as well as flexibility with similar alternative programs.
  • Ability to process a vast amount of information and understand and prioritize competing business needs.
  • Strong personal work ethic.
  • Flexible personality and quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency.
