Job description
The role of the E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Coordinator is to optimize the sales through the E-commerce channel following the guidelines of Swatch HQ. In addition, he/she should seek out local business opportunities to increase revenues and brand exposure, while exploring new ways to attract new customer segments. He/ She manage and oversees the implementation, development and adaptation of the Digital marketing campaigns, advertising, online activations and events following Swatch Headquarter guidelines.
Profile
Responsibilities:
1. E-commerce:
Daily Order Processing:
- Manage daily orders via Calleo, including preparation (packaging) and invoicing
- Print carrier vouchers and hand over orders to the courier company
- Communicate with the courier company when necessary
Stock Management & Updates:
- Monitor fast-moving items daily to ensure proper stock levels
- Weekly use of Johnny to track orders and sales status of watches, enabling accurate website updates (e.g., “p40” or “out of stock” messages)
- Conduct inventory checks 3-4 times per year
- Use Jira for daily requests, including sales updates, front-end adjustments, and corrections
Customer Communication:
- Handle all incoming calls and emails related to e-commerce orders, tracking, product inquiries, and payment information
Returns & Customer Service:
- Manage returns: explain procedures to customers, receive returned items, and process refunds through the appropriate payment provider
- Daily communication with customers via phone and email using Salesforce
E-merchandising & Analytics:
- Responsible for localizations in Salesforce and Concertful, price checks, and other front-end tasks (excluding newsletters)
- Monitor watch quantities for new launches
- Frequent engagement with Google Analytics to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to enhance customer experience in collaboration with the local manager and HQ team
Reporting:
- Prepare reports for the manager and accounting department as required
2. Digital Marketing:
- Supports the Marketing Manager in determining and implementing local digital marketing campaigns to support sales goals, including social media, email marketing, retargeting, SEO and SEA, digital media, and all other marketing initiatives
- Measures and analyzes digital marketing results
- Ensures online activities follow local laws and ethical best practices
- Responsible for local adaptation of layouts, product displays, site structure, and copywriting in line with HQ
- Provides leading ideas and marketing advice for website development
- Supports the Marketing Manager in monitoring and briefing external agencies to ensure SEO/SEM is factored into all corporate initiatives, including product launches, social media, and PR activities
- Tracks current and emerging local e-commerce and digital trends
Professional requirements
- 1-5 years’ experience in E-commerce and digital marketing position, preferably in a multinational environment
- Experience in Marketing
- Experience in Digital Marketing
- Graduate level (marketing, etc.)
- Confident PC user with strong MS Office skills and good understanding of HTML
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
