From our headquarters in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, we supply independent jewelers and chain stores. In addition, The Swatch Group Netherlands has a growing number of its own outlets, such as Swatch Stores, Tissot Boutique and an Hour Passion in the Designer Outlet in Roermond.

For the head office in the Netherlands (Eindhoven) we are immediately looking for a:

Business/ finance Controller (full-time and on location).

Functie

As Controller you will be the sparring partner for the Commercial organization and contribute to the further development and professionalization of the Finance team. As Controller you are fully PnL responsible for our B2B business activities and you have an overarching and coordinating role in key processes such as monthly closing, budget and sales forecast. In this role you function as the right hand of the CFO.

Key activities and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to our growth strategy by delivering compelling analysis and presentations
  • Provide insight into gross and net margin development
  • Support and advise in the preparation of business cases for the opening of new outlets
  • Reporting forecasts both commercially and financially
  • Active contribution in the monthly closing in cooperation with the other Finance colleagues
  • Preparation of cash flow analyses and projections and capex controlling
  • Presenting the operational and commercial results to the management (CEO & CFO).

There are also opportunities, for example, to automate and optimize reporting. We also see opportunities to further improve processes.

 

Profiel

Furthermore, do you recognize yourself in;

  • HBO+ or WO educated with at least 3 -5 years of relevant work experience
  • Making clear financial analyses for management to operations
  • A team mentality, but able to work independently
  • Skill in working with various IT systems, such as SAP, SAP BW and Office 365
  • Good skills in the English language where Dutch is an advantage.

You function well in an organization;
