The Role

This opportunity is based on site in the OMEGA Workshop at our Richmond Head Office.

  • Perform battery replacements, pressure testing, and bracelet or strap exchanges
  • Conduct water resistance testing to OMEGA technical standards
  • Check and regulate movement rate, beat error, amplitude, and magnetism
  • Safely uncase and disassemble watches and casing components
  • Perform ultrasonic cleaning of cases, bracelets, and watch components
  • Replace seals, crowns, pushers, batteries, spring bars, pins, and tubes
  • Reassemble watches to ensure precision and water resistance performance
  • Carry out movement exchange services in line with OMEGA procedures
  • Perform quality control testing to ensure premium service standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve workflow efficiency and reduce delays
  • Prioritise workload effectively while maintaining high-quality workmanship and productivity 

Skills & Experience

  • Satisfactory results of a watchmaking apprenticeship course or minimum 2 years’ of relevant industry experience in a watchmaking company
  • Ability to perform complete movement exchange of Quartz and Mechanical watches preferred
  • Experience in case preparation, disassembly and quality control preferred
  • Able to self-manage own daily workflow whilst respecting productivity and quality targets
  • Proficient in basic computer knowledge, SAP / similar ERP system, Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention-to-detail
  • Interpersonal skills; team player
  • Excellent organisation, time, and priority management skills
  • Ability to competently undertake multiple tasks
