Job description
As a Warehouse Associate, you will report to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager and be responsible for supporting all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will contribute to the overall success of the business by ensuring accurate and timely processing of inventory while embodying the Company's core values of Customer Focus, Drive for Results, Teamwork, Integrity, Problem-Solving, and Accountability.
Starting base pay of $21.00 – $24.50 per hour.
Responsibilities Include:
Receiving & Inventory Management
- Receive products from suppliers, retail locations, service centers, and internal departments.
- Verify received merchandise against shipping documents to ensure accuracy in product and quantities.
- Report discrepancies and make required documentation adjustments, notifying the supervisor of any issues.
- Accurately store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with annual physical inventories, cycle counts, and ongoing inventory control activities.
Order Fulfillment & Shipping
- Pick and prepare customer and store orders according to daily pick lists and shipping requirements.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and shipment targets while maintaining accuracy standards.
- Ensure all orders are verified by another team member prior to packing and shipment.
- Scan products accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Process outgoing shipments using approved shipping and freight systems while verifying delivery information.
- Submit required productivity reports and maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities.
Operations
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory of shipping and packaging supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Assist other warehouse associates and departments to support business needs and order fulfillment requirements.
- Respond promptly to customer, store, and internal stakeholder requests and concerns.
- Follow all operational policies, procedures, and company standards.
Compliance & Safety
- Uphold workplace health and safety standards at all times.
- Report injuries, hazards, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately.
- Operate warehouse equipment and tools in accordance with company policies and training requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory control and loss prevention procedures.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a warehouse environment and requires frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling products throughout the shift. The position requires the ability to regularly lift and move merchandise and materials weighing up to 35 lbs independently and heavier items with appropriate assistance. Attention to detail is required when handling inventory, scanning products, completing documentation, and preparing shipments.

Professional requirements
Requirements:
- HS diploma or equivalent required, college a plus
- Previous warehouse and shipping/receiving experience
- Previous AS 400 experience a plus
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
- Good communication skills
- RF gun knowledge with ability to scan inbound and outbound material
- Able to lift minimum 20 pounds.
- Team player and ability to manage work processes
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Able to produce results under pressure and meet deadlines
Languages
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, and receiving experience preferred.
- Experience with warehouse management systems, RF scanners, and inventory control processes is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong mathematical and inventory reconciliation skills.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing a minimum of 35 lbs.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
Ability to meet productivity targets, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
