Job Description
As a Key Accounts Sales Specialist with Swatch Group, U.S., the position will be responsible supporting strategic retail and travel retail business through account management, sales analysis, reporting, forecasting, and operational coordination. This position is responsible for managing assigned key accounts, analyzing business performance, supporting sales planning initiatives, coordinating order management activities, and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners. The role serves as a critical liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Headquarters to ensure the successful execution of commercial initiatives and the achievement of sales objectives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Key Account Management
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned retail and travel retail accounts.
• Support account planning and execution of commercial initiatives to drive sales growth and business performance.
• Monitor account performance against sales objectives and identify opportunities for growth.
• Participate in business reviews, account meetings, conferences, and customer events as needed.
• Review weekly sales performance and provide replenishment recommendations.
• Coordinate new door openings, account setup activities, assortment planning, RMIS updates, and SIS project support.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners while providing timely support for business needs and requests.
Sales Analysis & Business Reporting
• Compile, maintain, and analyze sell-in and sell-out reporting for retail and travel retail accounts.
• Analyze sales performance by account, location, product category, and collection to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment, allocation, and assortment adjustments.
• Prepare quarterly assortments and maintain sell-out reporting by style and collection.
• Analyze warranty and sales data to provide actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and business reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide reporting and analytical support to Headquarters and field sales teams as required.
Forecasting & Business Planning
• Assist in the development of account business plans, sales forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning initiatives.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and business performance against sales objectives.
• Provide visibility into inventory availability, backorders, and product launch performance.
• Partner with demand planning and sales teams to support assortment launches and replenishment strategies.
• Track product introductions and identify distribution opportunities across assigned accounts.
Sales Operations & Order Management
• Manage purchase order processing, shipment coordination, and order tracking activities.
• Coordinate product allocations and deliveries with internal departments and external partners.
• Review and manage EDI orders, backorders, shipping timelines, and order cancellations.
• Partner with Credit, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to resolve account-related issues and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Review chargebacks, process return authorizations, and coordinate product returns and repairs.
• Support incentive program administration and compliance tracking.
• Manage product samples, event shipments, and logistics for account initiatives and special projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Support
• Provide reporting, analytical, and operational support to Regional Sales Managers and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Headquarters teams to
support business objectives.
• Maintain reporting tools, dashboards, operational files, and account documentation.
• Participate in projects focused on improving reporting, workflows, and business processes.
• Track special projects, account initiatives, training activities, and promotional program performance.
• Support customer events, meetings, and strategic initiatives as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, account management, customer support, or related
functions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Key Accounts Sales Specialist to operate computer
equipment, communicate effectively, bend, stoop, reach, and occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
Finger dexterity is necessary. Occasional travel may be required to support account meetings, conferences, customer
visits, and industry events.
