Job description
The Sports Marketing Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing OMEGA's U.S.-based golf marketing activations, partnerships, and hospitality programs. This role ensures that all events and athlete-related initiatives reflect OMEGA's luxury brand positioning, support business objectives, and deliver exceptional experiences for clients, partners, and guests.
The position serves as the primary operational lead for U.S. golf partnerships and athlete relationships while collaborating with global and local stakeholders to execute OMEGA's sports marketing strategy.
Profile
Main tasks (with indication of quality and quantity targets as well as deadlines):
- Serve as OMEGA's primary operational owner for golf partnerships and golf athlete relations in the United States, ensuring flawless execution of the brand's global golf strategy.
- Build, nurture, and safeguard long-term relationships with OMEGA golf ambassadors, their representatives, and key tournament stakeholders to reinforce brand equity within the global golf community.
Ambassador watch requests
- Process ambassador watch requests end-to-end: submission, internal approval routing, and order placement.
- Coordinate with Headquarters and local market teams on product allocation and inventory availability.
- Manage administrative documentation, including gifting forms and internal agreements.
Golf tournaments
- Attend major professional golf tournaments throughout the season, including majors, PGA Tour events, TGL matches, and other designated properties.
- Maintain close, visible contact with athletes and their entourages throughout each tournament.
OMEGA Golf events
- Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of OMEGA-owned and OMEGA-supported golf events and hospitality programs (OMEGA Golf Trophy, OMEGA Invitationals, etc), including budget and post-event wrap up, ensuring consistency with the brand's luxury positioning (branding, visibility, hospitality and activation, but also ticketing, accreditation, media coverage, PR actions, etc.)
- Ensure full compliance with OMEGA brand guidelines across all event materials and guest touchpoints.
TGL partnership
- Own the day-to-day operational management of the TGL partnership, translating this strategic priority into consistent, high-quality execution.
Others - Identify, evaluate, and propose new golf activations and special projects aligned with brand strategy.
- Overseeing branding approvals with partners and looking at new opportunities and managing its deliveries
- Reporting Golf and Golf industry updates
- Monitor the competitive landscape and player movement within professional golf.
- Identify and propose new ambassador opportunities aligned with brand strategy.
Expected deliverables:
- Annual golf activation calendar.
- Detailed event execution plans and run-of-show documents for each activation.
- Post-event reports covering attendance, guest feedback, and return on investment.
- Quarterly ambassador relationship status reports.
- Ambassador calendar, updated on a rolling basis.
- Post-tournament trip reports summarizing key interactions, outcomes, and opportunities.
- TGL season operational plan.
- TGL Match-by-match execution reports.
Professional requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sports marketing, sponsorship management, event marketing, agency services, rights holder organizations, sports leagues, or related industries.
- Experience working with professional sports properties, athletes, or sponsorship activations preferred.
- Demonstrated event planning and project management experience.
- English proficiency required.
- Additional language skills, including French, are a plus.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the United States and occasionally internationally.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
