Job description

The Material Handler - Shipping is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of outbound shipments within the Distribution Center. This role ensures customer orders are picked, verified, packed, labeled, and shipped according to company standards and service expectations. The Material Handler - Shipping plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction by ensuring all shipments are processed correctly and delivered on schedule.

Professional requirements

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, distribution, shipping, fulfillment, or logistics experience, preferably within the cosmetics, sunglasses, jewelry, or watch industry.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify products, quantities, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using warehouse management systems, ERP systems, or shipping software preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of a warehouse environment.
