Tissot loves cycling, cycling loves Tissot. For the past six decades, the brand has shown its unconditional support - and love - for cycling. As the “Official Timekeeper” and “Official Watch” of the Tour de France, Tissot also partners the most famous races in the world like the Vuelta in Spain and, for the first time, this year, the Giro in Italy. Cycling offers all the qualities needed to fuel an exceptional passion: popularity, speed, risk-taking, strategy, high standards, precision, self-sacrifice, performance. Tissot is capable of using the most innovative technology to design systems tailored to produce the extraordinary feats of this sport that enjoys an exceptional aura: bikes fitted with transmitters, computer-assisted general timekeeping system, photo-finish camera on the finish line, points counting, collection of specific data, transmission of statistics... time is precious. More than anyone Tissot appreciates and honours this. In 2020, one of the major cycling events will obviously be the legendary Tour de France.
Tissot supports all cycling events organised by A.S.O. worldwide. In this sport especially, every second counts. Since 2015, the Swiss watch brand has therefore committed its professionalism and expertise to supporting the flagship event in world cycling. It became the Official Timekeeper for the world-famous Tour de France and every year launches the event’s “Official Watch”.

The Tissot Supersport Tour de France 2020 watch is aimed at unconditional fans of the race whose highlights are capable of unleashing passions around the globe. Swiss made, the 2020 version of this 45.5 mm diameter quartz chronograph is dressed in red and yellow, the official colours of the Tour. Its ergonomic and aerodynamic design is here accentuated by four large hands making it easy to tell the time... even when riding a bike. The very dynamic dial is balanced with three auxiliary dials that also provide an allusion to bike wheels. Better still, a bright yellow bicycle is engraved on the counterweight of the large second hand of the chronograph which gives a clear reading of the time while the tachymetric scale on the bezel can be used to calculate a cyclist’s speed over a given distance. The case is in 316 L stainless steel, as are the chronograph push-buttons that have been given a black band. The Tissot Supersport Tour de France 2020 is fitted with an interchangeable nylon and rubber strap and a brown leather strap featuring a bicycle, giving a vintage touch to the watch. Last but not least, the case back is engraved with the Tour de France logo. A must-have for all self-respecting cycle fans.
