In 2026, the Swatch Art Peace Hotel, Swatch’s unique artist residency where creativity knows no limits, celebrates 15 years as a vibrant hub for artistic expression. To mark this important milestone, the brand is launching the Swatch Art Peace Hotel Collection, six watches that bring together six artists from across China, the home country of the residency.

Since opening its doors on November 1, 2011, the Swatch Art Peace Hotel has been much more than a space for artists to live and work. Reflecting Swatch's longstanding passion for art and its commitment to supporting artists, it is a platform for creative exchange where diverse voices, artistic disciplines, and generations come together and are given the time, space, and freedom to focus on one thing: creating. While each artist brings a unique artistic perspective, they are united by their shared love for art, as well as their connection to the Swatch Art Peace Hotel.

The Swatch Art Peace Hotel Collection celebrates the extraordinary talent of six Chinese artists from diverse artistic backgrounds, generations, and disciplines. Inspired by their time at the residency and guided by their distinctive creative vision, each one contributed an original artwork that was transformed into a Swatch. Together, these six timepieces embody a shared creative journey and the vibrant artistic community that has been at the heart of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel for the past 15 years.

DIGI-BLOSSOMING BY LUO BI

Specialized in designing virtual and 3D ecosystems, Luo Bi develops a new style of cyber aesthetics that challenges traditional digital art. DIGI-BLOSSOMING brings to life the artist’s imaginative vision of a world beyond the human realm that is centered around the beauty and vitality of flowers.

BUND-ASTIC BY FENG BIN

Feng Bin explores contemporary Chinese culture through ceramic painting, merging tradition with modern themes that highlight the spirit of Shanghai. BUND-ASTIC is an ode to the architecture along the Bund. More than 20 different buildings are featured, with the iconic rooftop of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel taking center stage on its dial.

FLOWERING PLUM BY HAN FENG

Painter and collage artist, Han Feng’s work blends traditional Chinese ink aesthetics with Chinese contemporary visual language. FLOWERING PLUM reflects the artist’s signature focus on plum blossoms, in a playful design that is both delicately subtle and strikingly captivating.

STREET EYE BY GREEN LAVA

With a background in graffiti and street art, Green Lava captures the dynamics of modern urban life through blending images of plants, animals, human figures, and urban symbols. STREET EYE is a manifestation of the artist’s unconventional and unmistakable visual language, that balances order and chaos in a watch that feels alive with positive energy. 

CURVILINEAR BY WANG SHUAI

Shanghai native Wang Shuai is known for her distinctive artworks that are characterized by intricate black-and-white lines. CURVILINEAR is the watch interpretation of Thirty Thousand Lines, an artwork the artist conceived during her residency, as a symbol of life’s intricate path. 

BLOW AWAY BY YU YANG (YY)

Coming from a background in street art and graffiti, YY creates artworks that blend Eastern and Western cultures, Chinese tradition, and pop culture. BLOW AWAY is a playful celebration of Chinese messages and blessings, centered around his signature character, Guan Xiao Ye, against a vibrant yellow backdrop.
