Tissot Chrono XL Tour de France
Yellow for victory
At the Tour de France, the world’s premier bicycle race, the color yellow epitomizes excellence. The leader of the Tour is presented with the Maillot Jaune at the end of each stage and it is worn proudly, as a badge of honor as every cyclist in the Tour wants to wear this as often as he can. The yellow jersey not only represents the leader but also is the target for the rest of the field.
This year, the Tour de France’s yellow jersey celebrates its 100th year, and Tissot celebrates this occasion with a special Chrono XL Tour de France Special Edition 2019. This tri-compax quartz chronograph, with two of its subdials in the bright yellow of the Tour de France, contrasting with black for the rest of the dial, comes with two leather straps, one completely black and the other decorated with iconic yellow jerseys from the history of this celebrated race.
The 45mm case of the Chrono XL Tour de France is in grey PVD, and the Tour de France logo is engraved on the caseback.
Tissot is the Official Timepiece and the Official Timekeeper of the Tour de France, and this special Chronograph celebrates this partnership, this race and the overwhelming excellence of every athlete who has competed in the Tour de France.

Few sports generate as much excitement among spectators - regardless of nationality - as cycling races. Few events generate as much passion as the “Tour”. And few races are as open, tough and undecided until the very last day. It is in this highly charged atmosphere that Tissot operates. This watch was created in the context of Tissot’s ongoing commitment to cycling, and supporting the Tour de France and its many fans.
The Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar Tour de France 2019 features a rose gold PVD coated titanium case. It is finished with several components and black detailing. Its titanium bezel features a compass rose to facilitate navigation. Its chronograph push-buttons are textured for better grip. Its anti-slip black rubber strap provides better wearing comfort. It is also an ideal watch for cyclists. This also applies to the second version of the watch, which is entirely made of titanium coated with black PVD.
The features of the T-Touch Expert Solar have been designed with cycle road racing in mind. Weighing in at only 79 grams thanks to use of titanium, it is wonderfully lightweight. With its 45 mm diameter and analogue-digital display, it is easy to read. With its anti-slip black rubber strap, it does not move about on the wrist. With its protrusions to protect the chronograph push-buttons and the button/crown positioned at 3 o'clock, it does not dig into the wrist. Finally, the multitude of features of the T-Touch collection makes it an indispensable tool for those who monitor barometric pressure, altitude difference, and journey and lap times. This timepiece provides all the data necessary for cycling whether for leisure or racing.
An authentic icon of Swiss watchmaking, the Tissot T-Touch celebrates its 20th anniversary. This touch screen multifunctional electronic watch has constantly evolved winning over wearers in all the sectors where Tissot is present thanks to its: intuitive interactive system, ability to constantly develop, range of functions and applications, and extreme ease of use based on advanced ergonomic research.
