Swatch Group will propose the appointment of Mr. Andreas Rickenbacher as a new member of its Board of Directors at the next Annual General Meeting, which takes place on May 12, 2026.
This proposal is in line with the Group's desire to strengthen its governance and benefit from additional expertise within its Board of Directors. Andreas Rickenbacher's profile and professional background are significant assets that will support the Group's strategy.

Andreas Rickenbacher, a Swiss citizen and business economist, was a member of the Bern Cantonal Government from 2006 to 2016. He had previously been an entrepreneur and consultant. Since 2016, after more than 20 years in politics, he has been an entrepreneur and an experienced independent member of boards of directors in the private sector.

With extensive experience in industry and a keen understanding of the particularities of the Swiss industrial landscape, Andreas Rickenbacher is, among other things, president of the Switzerland Innovation Foundation and the CSEM (Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology). He is also Chairman of the Suva (the Swiss National Accident Insurance Fund), Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of BKW AG (listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange), and a member of the Board of Directors of the Switzerland’s Aebi Schmidt Group (listed on the NASDAQ), a leader in the field of world-class specialty vehicles.
